During this time of heightened concern about health and safety, we want to reassure all of our clients that Melantha Salon is working to make your experience with us as safe as possible. We are in full compliance with the guidelines for re-opening salons. Additionally, Melantha Salon offers the opportunity for customers to have a one-on-one experience with their stylist, ensuring the highest standards of health and safety are available to every customer.
The following new requirements are in place for both clients and stylists. Please review what is required of you as a customer prior to your appointment. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
Requirements our clients must comply with:
1. Clients must wait outside of salon and observe social distancing requirements. Your stylist will call you to enter the salon.
2. Clients will have their temperature taken upon entering the salon. Individuals with symptoms consistent with COVID19 or a temperature exceeding 100.4 will not be permitted in the salon.
3. Clients will indicate in writing they have not had fever or other symptoms consistent with COVID-19 within the past 72 hours and have not been in contact with any individual with fever or symptoms consistent with COVID-19 within the past 14 days.
4. Clients must wash hands upon entry to the salon and prior to exiting the salon, with hand sanitizer available at the salon entrance.
5. Clients will wear a mask while in the salon.
Requirements Melantha Salon is complying with:
1. Services will not be provided to any customer who has symptoms consistent with COVID-19 or has been in contact with any individual with fever or symptoms consistent with COVID-19 within the past 14 days.
2. All areas of the salon will be cleaned and disinfected. Appointments will be spaced out in order to disinfect tools and surfaces after every single client.
3. Items that cannot be sanitized will be removed from the service area of salon, i.e. magazines, rugs, etc.
4. Stations will have hand sanitizer available for use.
5. Refreshments offered will be in sealed, single-serving, disposable containers.
6. Stylists will wear a mask while in the salon.
