Founder & Salon Owner

Brittni Scandaliato was born and raised in New Orleans, before moving to New York City to launch her career as a hairstylist. After arriving in NYC, Brittni joined a high-end salon in Manhattan, growing her client base with her fresh, personal approach to cuts that relies on her connection to her client and their hair as much as her technical prowess to deliver incredible looks. She expanded into the entertainment industry, serving as a stylist on television shows such as The View, The Chew, and Good Morning New York. Continuing to grow, she began styling for fashion shows such Marc Jacobs, Ralph Lauren, and Diesel. 

Brittni returned to New Orleans in 2016 and joined Rocket Science Salon, growing a loyal clientele drawn to her extensive training in high-end cuts and the latest color techniques. In 2020, she founded Melantha Salon in the Bywater neighborhood of New Orleans. Melantha Salon offers the opportunity for customers to have a one-on-one experience with their stylist, ensuring the highest standards of health and safety are available to every customer.
